Life with Solomon & Margo
I thought I'd try some actual "blogging". Solomon is reading books in his room and Margo is napping, the kitchen is clean, ahhh...
We had a tough time getting Margo to sleep last night. She fell asleep early- 7p.m. easily but then woke up screaming. I tried nursing her back to sleep for about an hour, while she yanked and growled at me and tried sticking fingers up my nose. Finally I'd had enough and I handed her over to Jon. I did give her some tylenol before handing her over (thinking it would kick in and she would drift off to sleep in Dada's arms). Well I sat in the t.v. room finishing off the remains of what was not nearly enough ice cream, flipping around our handful of fuzzy channels (no cable). Margo screamed for an hour with no signs of letting up, finally I couldn't stand it, so I went up and took over. She was delighted to see me and gave Jon the funniest look. Jon thinks she doesn't like him. But it's just that he doesn't have breast- or you know- nothing she's interested in. I laid down with her and nursed her again and this time she drifted off in 15 mins. Ahhhh... finally some peace.
This morning consisted of lazing about in our jammies and listening to music. I recently took a shower and got dressed, still need to Sollie dressed as I think we'll actually try to venture out of the house when Margo gets up. It looks like it's getting nice out... finally. We've had several drippy days. Sollie came out and said he wants to get clothes on, what a fine idea!

So exciting, the life of the stay at home mom! Aren't you lucky I get to subject you to it? Of course you can just skip all this nonsense and look at pictures.
