Life with Solomon & Margo

Camping at Penrose Point
We had a great time camping. It turned out to be a very hot weekend, which was perfect for hanging out around the water and sleeping in a tent. The sound there clears out in the morning, great for mucking about and finding things. Including some huge sand dollar beds, I've never seen so many sand dollars. We also saw the tops of some geoducks, huge sea snails, hermit crabs and lots of little rock crabs. Sollie had a great time exploring. Then the tide would rise and we would have some shallow water to play in. Sollie made friends with the kids camping next to us. They liked to play in the dirt at the camp site, which seemed extra dirty.
We will definetely go camping there again next year. Any one want to join us?
