Doing the Puyallup and diapers!

After living here for... four years is it? I finally succumbed to the fair. Jon, would not join us however. So I took the kids during the week and met up with a friend there. It actually went pretty well. I got there early and stayed close to the kid section and the animals and it was actually pretty enjoyable. Solomon surprised me and had a great time on the rides. He was very brave.
Elissa was kind enough to take some photos for me as my camera chose that day to bite the dust.

Today is the first day of my diaper washing experiment. I aquired some cloth diapers from a friend and decided to put the service on hold for a week and give it a try myself. I bought a handy dandy little sprayer attachment for the toilet to rinse out the poopy diapers. Had my first poo-diap to deal with this morning and it actually wasn't that bad. I still have to see how the actually washing goes and how many I'll need to make it a week without washing. I suspect I'm going to have to invest in a few more.

Margo is starting to walk! She keeps taking one or two steps here and there. The funny thing is that it only seems to be when she's not thinking about it. When she thinks about it she gets down to crawl

Solomon and I stumbled upon a dollhouse with a free sign on it around the corner from our house and he couldn't be more thrilled. It's huge plastic and PINK, very pink. I'm so glad he doesn't care about those things yet. I love this age, he's still so sweet and innocent and unspoiled by concepts about what's "right" for boys and what's "right" for girls. He's just all about having fun.
