Margo's Birthday

We started out Margo's birthday with her vomitting all over me and herself at 7 a.m. Happy Birthday! Then she had her 1 year check-up. Lucky for her because of the previous mentioned vomitting her shots were postponed.
She is officially a shorty. Short stuff. Only 28 inches, which translates to 25th percentile. She is 20 # 8 oz a respectable 40th percentile for weight but only 25th for height! Her pediatrian actually wants to have her blood work done to make sure her thyroid levels are okay just to be cautious. So a little concerning but we're trying not to get too worked out about it. She is obviously very bright and developmentally on track, just a little short.
To put things in our perspective Solomon was over 19 # and 28 inches "tall" at 4 months. So if you could imagine Solomon toddling all over the house before he could even sit up that's basically what we see when we look at Margo. She looks small and short to us.
Even though she wasn't feeling too great, she wasn't miserable either, so we went ahead with our plans for the day. Jon took the day off from work and after the Dr.'s appt. and Solomon's preschool we took the kids down to Olympia. We had some lunch and then took them to the Children's Museum. Olympia has such a nice big children's museum. We spent a good two hours straight there and I don't think we got to everything! They had a blast. We forgot the camera though.
Margo got really good at saying, "Happy" today. Every time we would say something about her birthday she would try to say, "happy birthday" and the happy is sounding really good.
So Happy Birthday Margo, hopefully you won't vomit tonight.
