Oh where oh where has the summer gone?

So I finally got the photos off my camera from July and I uploaded some recent pictures from Margo's 2nd birthday party.
I can't believe summer is really over, I'm in denial. It just went by really fast this year for some reason. We had a nice time, I think... went camping a couple of times then we went on a big Oregon road trip right at the end. Drove down to the Dunes then up the coast. Did some super touristy stuff: took the kids to the aquarium and the sea lion caves. We spent a few nights in a yurt at Nehalem. Loved it there, loved strolling into Manzanita for a bite to eat. I was glad we did that because we tend to head up to the Sand Juan islands to do beachy stuff like that. Although, I still adore Lopez, Manzanita was pretty nice. Too bad we can't afford a few million for a beach house there.
I managed to pull off a fancy tea party for a bunch of 2 and 3 year olds! They all did really well, actually sat and ate their scones and sandwiches and drank tea, I was impressed. I got to sit for a minute and drink some tea myself. Margo seemed really happy with it. Next year I think we'll be talking her out to eat or something though, that was a lot of work!
Check out Solomon's idea of fancy dress! He's so cute, he can't decide if he wants to be a boy and wear fancy boy clothes or wear fun twirly dresses, so he wears both. At the end of the day he asked for help getting his dress off because it, "was killing him". You got to love 4!
