I just noticed something about Solomon I hadn't really picked up on before. The kid loves getting new clothes. He had a growth spurt recently and all his pants were about an inch too short. I was putting off trying to go clothes shopping and found a sale on-line and ordered him some things. After some measuring I ended up getting him 6 slims, which seem to fit nicely and he has some room for another growth spurt. Any way, when the package came and we sat down to sort through things and try them on he spontaneously threw his arms around me in glee. He was so happy. Every day since then he's wanted to wear one of his new clothes. He's so cute.
Went up and saw the sculpture park in Seattle. It was a perfect day for it, sunny and rather warm really. Surprisingly warm. Then we went and had lunch at the Nordstrom Cafe because I had some things to return. I noticed when I went to the bathroom that they have a mother's room in the women's bathroom and of course the symbol they used was a bottle. I so wished I had a nursing symbol sticker in my purse I would have slapped it up over that bottle... I think I'll order a few to have around in situations like that.... hee hee.
I'll see if I can post a picture of the symbol. It's great. Mothering Magazine came up with it, I just hope it catches on.
Oh yeah, we got our plane tickets!!!!!! I was so damn happy I did a little jump and yell for joy. We are leaving May 21st and we'll be in Europe for an entire month. Sweet.
