It's nice to be back home, it really is! Although it is a little difficult to give up the nightly bottle of inexpensive and yummy wine, inexpensive and good chocolate and fresh baked croissants every morning.
The kids did great. Solomon did a ton of walking! And very little complaining... well, a little complaining. Margo handled the moving about from week to week for a month very well for a 2 1/2 year old!
Both plane trips went really well.
I most say that by Barcelona the kids and I were a little fried. Our apartment was small and hot and stuffy. Although it did have a lovely terrace with lizards.
Four weeks was probably a little much with two small kids, I think three would have been perfect.
All in all it was a very memorable and enjoyable vacation of a lifetime.
