Did I mention my summer resolution? After spending a month in Europe and realizing hardly any one uses clothes dryers, at least not on any regular basis, I figured I could not use my clothes dryer for the summer. So I bought myself a handy-dandy 5 line retractable clothes line I've had my eyes on. This thing is enormous, I have it attached to the garage and the house in convenient proximity to the basement steps and washing machine.
On a nice day, if I'm vigilant about it, I can whip out 7 loads of laundry! With a little sun and some breeze the drying time is amazing.
So far, since returning home on June 22nd, I've managed not to use the dryer once.
So, here's my little pat on my back for me.
Jon has managed to take the children away from the house for me this morning, so I'm going to try and get some things done. First thing I'm going to do is try and upload the rest of the pictures from our trip.
Then off to take a shower, straighten up and finish off a sewing project.
Did I mention that after trying to get pregnant for six months I got a diagnosis of perimenopause? How fun is that? There's more updates about this that I'll share later... hee, hee...
