Okay, one of the new babies we are expecting. Here's our new kitten baby, "Yoki". Solomon named him and when I looked it up I found out it's actually a Hopi Indian name that means, "Rain" or "It has been raining". Which seemed appropriate, so Yoki it is.
We just brought him home today and so far he's adjusting very well. He's a sweet little guy, full of purrs and very easy going and tolerant of the kids. Margo wants to carry him around and show him everything in the room. We are keeping him the kids' room for now, hoping to gradually introduce him to Zilpah. I'm hoping that her maternal instincts will kick in and she won't be to awful to him.
Solomon was so excited, he knew we were going to look at him on Friday, so all week long he's been asking if it's Friday yet... this morning he woke up at 5 am! He never does that, in fact the other morning he slept in until 9. So yeah, he was a little excited :)
