Back To the Grind
It feels like it's been a busy week since coming back from vacation. Days have been filled with playgroups, swim lessons, and a trip up to Seattle to pick Dada up for a picnic dinner by the lake. What a cool city Seattle is, with a huge lake in the middle of it, I sometimes forget that!
Margo had a rough day yesterday, starting at 4:30 a.m., teething? It's so hard to know. She's usually so happy and good natured, right now she's sitting in a box and laughing at Sollie who is dragging her around. Yesterday there were very few moments of happiness, even after a dose of tylenol. Ahhh, the mysteries of babies.
Margo amazes us every day with her developing personality and her amazing physical developments. Didn't she start crawling like a week or so ago? Now she's obsessed with standing and she's even balanced for a few seconds. She's a master crawler now, trucking all over the house and wrecking havoc. Her and Solomon get into tiffs regularly and she's learning to hold her own. I swear some times when she cries out after he takes a toy from her and I scold him, she smiles smugly. Ahhhh, the sibling dynamics start early don't they? But I no one, myself included, illicit the belly laughs from her like Sollie does and I think she's started calling him, "bah-boo" or "ah-boo" (as in abu gharib ). He is also very attached to her, often asking where she is or suddenly coming up to her and giving her big hug and saying, "I love you!". How sweet is that? I'm hopeful that they will be good friends.
