Margo went in to see "Dr. MaryAnn" today. She was crying and fussing from the moment we walked in the door. I was surprised that she remembered. She even rembered the sequence of events calming down for Dr. MaryAnn and then gettting more upset when she left, knowing that the shots were coming. She recovered quickly and we headed off to the zoo, as promised.
Here's where she's at now. She weighs 21.9 #, that's 32nd and 31 inches tall, that's 62nd. Not too shabby. It certainly seems like her height measurement was off last time or she's had a wicked growth spurt.
Here's some funny Margo stories:
Every once in a while when Margo is misbehaving (mostly to make Sollie feel better), I'll tell her to go to her room. She responds by getting a big sad pout on her face and then marching off to Sollie's room. Although the pout is enough to tear your heart out I suspect that she really likes being sent to her room- just like her big brother.
The other day while over at her friend Ally's house ( Ally's mom was watching Margo for me for a couple of hours), her and Ally had an altercation over a toy and Margo's response was to head for the door, grabbing her coat and scarf. As if to say, "well that's it, I'm outta here!".
Luckily she is a much more reasonable child (compared to her big brother) and actually will listen to who is talking to her and calm down fairly easily.
I'm off to enjoy some quiet time while she's napping...
