Solomon to play Max in school play!

Solomon missed the announcement on Friday because he had to leave early because of a headache. When I told him his class was going to start working on a play and that it was going to "Where the Wild Things Are", I could almost literally see the wheels in his head start turning. He processed for a minute then looked me in the eye and said, "I want to be Max".

I explained to him that it was pretty likely that many of his friends would want to play Max and that if you want a part in a play you have to audition. So he practiced his line all weekend: "I'll eat you up!". He auditioned in front of his class on Monday, said his line well and got the part!

He's pretty excited and I think he'll make a wonderful little Max!
