2 month Check-up

Mira had her two month check-up today. She is 12 pounds 13 ounces and 24 inches long! 95 percentile for both. Interesting to compare, Margo was only one ounce more at her two month and the same length. Solomon was an entire four pounds more than the both of them... yes four more pounds! Geesh! He was 16 pounds 13 ounces and 25 inches long. He also started off weighing the least at 9 pounds even but he had an extra couple of weeks of mama milk because he was born at 38 weeks.

So, today is also the start of vaccinations.... which always makes me nervous. I do a delayed scheduled with the kids, trying to keep down the amount they get at one time. Now they have this massive combo vaccine (DTaP-HepB-IPV) Which is: Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Hep B and Polio! So we just did that one today. I didn't even want to start Hep B until much later, so it's a drag it's all included in this one shot.
She was suppose to get that massive shot and then three others as well! Talk about a lot for one little system to process...
So I'm taking her back in in month to get her Rotovirus and one other... can't remember which now but it's an oral one she said.
She's sleeping now and I'm suppose to be looking out for things like, weakness, fever, fussiness, poor appetite... I hate this.

We are heading out tomorrow to go camping with some friends. The house is a disaster and we don't have any food plan... should be interesting.

I'm going to try and do a little speed cleaning while Mira naps and the kids play before Sollie's swim class and Margo's gym class (where she gets to be "fabulous"- you'd have know the teacher to get this joke).
