Pilot Cap

I dyed some knit picks merino wool with watermelon and cherry kool-aid. It turned out a nice color, don't ya think? It still smells a bit yummy too.

I had a few problems with this pattern. I could not get it work out the way it was suppose to following the pattern, so I worked it out myself and it turned out. I don't get this extra ridge from slipping a stitch on one side only? Can you see in the picture how the right side stitches stand out more? I think next time I won't slip that stich and see what happens?

Now I just need some blue kool-aid for all the boy babies! I might have to buy some from E-bay!
